SIGNED by the artist on the front cover. 12 pp. A modernist painter, Walkowitz was one of "the Stieglitz Quartet" associated with the historic 291 Gallery. He is best known for his cityscapes and his thousands of sketches of Isadora Duncan. An unreconstructed radical and freethinker, he was close friends with the maverick publisher E. Haldeman-Julius, who contributed an introduction to this volume. Fine in wrappers. Bookseller Inventory # 16538
