Pocket-size (11x6.5cm) black leather-bound hard cover with gilt title 'The Bard' and gilt floral decorative borders, and only minor cover edge wear. The cover is complete but the front spine hinge has been reattached. Dedicated to Lord Viscount Morpeth from the Editor. Preface dated 1833, XV and 335 pages and including a romantic inscription dated 1834. Poets included: Milton, Burns, Cowper, Moore, Dryden, Byron, Scott, Shakspere, Southey, Campbell, Wordsworth and others. This rare volume of poetry published in 1834 is in good to very good condition. Seller Inventory # 003714
