The binding is secure The endpapers have very light foxing that doesn't affect the actual text, which is bright and clean throughout. Particularly of interest is a glossary in the rear of American words (including slang) and places. Since much of the slang is period, today's American readers might benefit from this glossary as well. The book measures 5 by 7 1/4 inches and includes 383 pages. . Hard Cover.
