Head and tail of spine and board edges worn. Boards are rubbed, stained and discoloured. Spine is sunned. Corners of boards are bumped. Book is on lean. Page edges foxed, discoloured and stained, with 'KILCOUR' written on side edge. Pages are browned and discoloured, many pages contain foxing and/or staining. Some pages are creased. Binding is loose. Inscription in black in on front free endpaper, presumably from previous owner, dated 1943. Hinge separation between front board and front free endpaper, paper of pastedown curling away from spine. The same at back board. Pages are thumbed, else this book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound.
