Dark blue cloth with gilt titling on spine, red titling on front, upper text block edge is gilt, lower edge untrimmed, brown end papers at front, 472 pages, publisher's advertising on last page. Light edge wear, spine ends and corners have slightly more wear, some tiny closed tears to upper spine end, some pale stains to upper text block edge but gilt is still bright, other text block edges darkened, tiny white spot (paint) on inside of back lower edge, hinge at front end paper partially cracked, rear hinge cracked at end paper, previous owner's name in ink on end paper, two of the small stains on upper text block edge can be seen as dark marks at top edges of pages otherwise text appears to be clean and tight.
