About the Author: Brian Turner began his working life as a wool classer in Australia and Argentina and, after stints as a journalist and photographer, is now manager of the bookshop at the Art Gallery of New South Wales. He is also author of The Australian Terrace House. His family has lived in Paddington for three generations.
