60x47 cm. 4-page newspaper in fair condition. Damage, with some loss of text along some folds, including a small (2x4 cm.) hole on both sheets. There is a piece (5x16 cm.) of pages 3-4 missing at the bottom outside corner, affecting several ads but no news items. The Winsted Herald was a weekly paper, and thus this was the first issue to contain news of Lincoln's assassination. American Antiquarian Society holds every 1865 issue of this paper except for this and one other. Seller Inventory # e00125
