Baltimore: Printed At George M'Gregor's Book and Job Office, No. 6 North Charles Street. 1850. 10pp. Overall good condition with some light gray soiling, discoloration a very light diagonal fold to the pamphlet overall and pressed flat over time, printed yellow wraps, approx. 5-5/8 in. x 8-3/4 in. (14.3 cm x 22.2 cm). WorldCat shows only two extant original copies, one in the Nimitz Library at The United States Naval Academy, the other in the Princeton University Library. AND: Proceedings of the American Medical Association, Relative to the Memorial and Proposed Bill of Rank, Submitted By Surgeon Ninian Pinkney of the U.S. Navy, May, 1852. 7pp. Overall good condition with some light gray soiling, discoloration two very slight diagonal folds to the pamphlet overall and pressed flat over time, printed beige wraps, approx. 5-5/8 in. x 9 inches (14.3 cm x 22.8 cm). WorldCat shows only three extant original copies, one in the Huntington Library, Art Collections & Botanical Gardens in San Marino, CA, the others in the Harvard College Library at Harvard University and in the Princeton University Library. - - - Ninian Pinkney was born in Annapolis, Maryland on 7 June 1811, graduated from St. John's Colege, Annapolis, Maryland, in 1829, and from Jefferson Medical College, Philadelphia, Pennsylavnia in 1833.
