About this Item

The second amended edition with the addition of notes on Ackton. The book is bound in blue, textured cloth with gilt title and decoration to the spine and front board. Frontispiece of Lupset Hall which was later used as the club house for Wakefield Golf Club until 2013. The book has been respined with the original spine laid down. Some darkening to the edges of the boards. Edges rubbed. Inside, bookplates of two former owners. Text block clean. Seller Inventory # 003824
