This is volume one of a projected two volumes, complete in itself, and subtitled, "The Ethnical Frontier of Lower Bengal with the Ancient Principalities of Beerbhoom and Bishenpore. Pages xvi, 475 with appendices. Original brick red cloth, neatly rebacked with the old spine cloth laid on top. Worn at the corners, but protected in a clear, mylar dustjacket. Ex-library, with library perforations on title page but no other indications. Inside, clean and tight with no foxing and new endpapers.
