Tall 12mo., full cont. calf, raised bands, gilt compartments, leather spine label, (viii), 237; 239pp. Ink blottings of contemporary names on titles, mark on upper cover but o/w a very nice copy. Guilluame Grivel [1735-1810] studied law but later went to Paris and was the author of several works. He was a member of several of the Academies including "Dijon, La Rochelle and Rouen and was also a member of "the Philadelphia Philosphy Society." The above work is a treatise on education.
