Bumping to the spine ends and corners. Light soil to covers and top edge. Only one occurrence of penciled marginalia found. Additionally, contemporary ownership name in pencil on the blank page following the front endpapers (Amasa Howard, Chelmsford, Mass.) and also on the title page (name with date, 1889). Dr. Amasa Howard was a Dartmouth Medical School graduate and lived in Chelmsford, Massachusetts. [xxiv] 268 pages with Introduction and Prefaces to the Eighth and Sixth Editions.
