Otherwise, a very good copy - clean, bright and unmarked - of this scarce genealogy. ~SP02~ [1.5P] Volume Twelve ONLY of the twenty-volume compilation of Du Bois family genealogy. The Du Bois families were early colonial settlers in Ulster County, New York. Each volume has an index at rear. Jacques Du Bois (1628-ca. 1677), a Huguenot, immigrated to The Netherlands, and married Pierrone Bentyn at Leyden. They immigrated in 1675 to Esopus (now Kingston), New York. Descendants lived throughout the United States and elsewhere. This Part Twelve covers Eighth Generation, H-5667 Rebecca J. VanMeter through I-1446 Thomas Earle VanMetre (1887-1973).
