The albums encompasses the Franciscan missions throughout the Middle East. An extraordinary record of Franciscan churches, schools, priests and pupils, with architectural and interior views of churches and sanctuaries. Areas illustrated in Volume I: Jerusalem, Bethany, Bethlehem, Tiberias, Galilee, Ramleh, Jericho (Ariha), Nazareth, Jaffa, Acre.
