Front board detached. Front board separated from spine and text block. Adhesive tape repairs to front endpaper. Heavy dampstains to the 8 plates at rear and the final text leaf. Dampstains to rear endpaper and margins of rear board. The 5 plates by W. E. Johns are all in good condition. ; 255, [1] pages + colour frontis + 4 b&w plates + 8 plates on 4 leaves at rear showing aircraft manouevres. Top page edges dyed blue.
