Moderately worn leather covers, corners bumped. Cracking along front hinge. Spine has gilt rulings and red leather title plate with gilt lettering. Note on first free end paper and presentation inscription on second, both in old hand. Pages foxed and browned on edges. Last page wrinkled and chipped. Binding tight. (Smith I:876) Grubb was an 18th century minister who traveled throughout Britain. She was concerned with education of youth, particularly through Ackworth School and York School.
