Woodcut title pg. vignette, 23 text illustrations, and 17 plates, of which two are folding maps, six are fine copperplate engravings of fish not found in the list of plates. A Large Paper Copy. Front endpaper with "Mr. Hone's Newood House, April 16, 1824." Condition is VERY GOOD ; spine head chipped and tail with slightly larger losses. Shallow vertical cracks beginning to develop on the spine, the label is a bit toned and chipped but clear. Corners are worn and edges rubbed with some chipping, but this original, fragile, temporary binding is still solid and a very nice example. Binding tight and text bright and unmarked with no foxing. Like other Large Paper Copies, this contains six excellent full-leaf engravings that are not present in the regular copies of this book.
