Two colour chromolithographic plates laid onto heavy card with tissue guards and full directions for painting, numerous full page plates containing motifs for panel decorations and many line illustrations in text - all as listed. The author was proprietor of Messrs Hancock and Sons Worcester which supplied paint and materials for the craft. Restoration work- the free front end paper and prelims up to and including the very heavy card plate frontis have been reattached by us with p.v.a. as they had pulled from the binding. One other card plate has also been tipped in with p.v.a. and is dust soiled to bottom and fore edge where it has clearly laid proud of the binding for many years previously.
