Alan grew up in a blue-collar suburb in the Midwest but now resides on the East Coast. The inspiration for his writing comes from his love of all things horror. As a child he immersed himself in the world of Goosebumps by R.L. Stine and all things Stephen King. He hopes that his writing will one day inspire middle grade readers to inherit a passion for all things spooky.
