This book covers all the bird species that have been recorded on Mustique so far. These species also comprise most of those that have been seen in the Grenadines as a whole, including several which have not been previously recorded in the region. It will serve as a guide to the birds of the Grenadines in general. This book aims to inform novices and experts alike on the birds of the island, and the Grenadines as a whole, and to facilitate their identification. The authors hope to encourage the appreciation of the birds of Mustique and of birds and wildlife generally, both for the fulfillment it brings, and as a step towards the conservation of the wildlife. The most specific aim of this book is to highlight the importance of the habitats found on and around Mustique, and in particular the mangrove.
