H. Craig Melchert, Ph.D. (1977) in Linguistics, Harvard University, is Professor of Linguistics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has published extensively on the Indo-European languages of Anatolia, including Anatolian Historical Phonology (Rodopi, 1994).
