Nuestros silencios, lo que las define.ENGLISH DESCRIPTIONNEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER LONGLISTED FOR THE MAN BOOKER PRIZE NOW A HULU ORIGINAL SERIES 2020 SALLY ROONEY NAMED TO THE 2019 TIME 100 NEXT LIST A stunning novel about the transformative power of relationships (People) from the author of Conversations with Friends, a master of the literary page-turner (J. Courtney Sullivan). NAMED ONE OF ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLYS TEN BEST NOVELS OF THE DECADE NAMED ONE OF THE TEN BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY Entertainment Weekly People The New York Public Library Slate Harvard Crimson AND ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS OF THE YEAR BY Dwight Garner, The New York Times The New York TImes Book Review O: The Oprah Magazine Time NPR The Washington Post Vogue Esquire Glamour Elle Marie Claire Vox The Paris Review Good Housekeeping Town & Country Kirkus Reviews BookPage BookRiot Absolutely engrossing and surprisingly heartbreaking with more depth, subtlety, and insight than any one novel deserves.Stephanie Danler Connell and Marianne grow up in the same small town in rural Ireland. The similarities end there; they are from very different worlds. When they both earn places at Trinity College in Dublin, a connection that has grown between them lasts long into the following years. This is an exquisite love story about how a person can change another person's life - a simple yet profound realisation that unfolds beautifully over the course of the novel. It tells us how difficult it is to talk about how we feel and it tells us - blazingly - about cycles of domination, legitimacy and privilege. Alternating menace with overwhelming tenderness, Sally Rooney's second novel breathes fiction with new life. "Taitulo original: Normal people"--Title page verso.
