Juan Huarte de San Juan (Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, 1529-Baeza, 1588). Espana. Estudio medicina en la Universidad de Alcala, viajo por Europa y vivio en Linares y Baeza donde ejercio como medico. Vivio de su profesion, aunque le interesaba la filosofia. Es uno de los precursores de la psicologia y de la divulgacion cientifica.
