Also with Alik Rowe's personal bookplate to front free endpaper, with his name and address stamp. Very good clean tight sound, shaken. Bound in gilt lettered black cloth, housed and protected in original unclipped colour pictorial dustwrapper. gently sunned, slightly rubbed and with single tiny chip to head of lower wrapp near spine. Both David Nobbs and convicted criminal Alik Rowe's novels and screenplays were televised during the 1970s and 1980s. A Bit of a Do and its sequel Fair Dos were televised during the 1970s, starring David Jason of Only Fools and Horses and David Thewlis latterly of Harry Potter films. Nobbs also created cult TV show Fall and Rise of Reginal Perrin. We are also selling a 1st Edition copy of Fair Dos, owned and signed by Alik Rowe, with his personal bookplate. was televised.
