This survey of Clifford algebra covers its applications in quantum mechanics, field theory, spinor calculations, projective geometry, hypercomplex algebra, function theory and crystallography. It illustrates the use of computational tools and software in the advance of scientific knowledge. Many examples of computations performed with a variety of readily available software programs are presented in detail, such as Maple, Mathematica, and Axiom. Programs and computer code for selected chapters are available by FTP from the Birkhauser Web site.
