About the Author:

Dipl.-Ing. Erich Hau, Jahrgang 1941, studierte an den Technischen UniversitAten Stuttgart und MA1/4nchen Luft- und Raumfahrttechnik. WAhrend seiner TAtigkeit als Entwicklungs- und Projektingenieur bei a žMAN Neue Technologie" in MA1/4nchen kam er Ende der 70-er Jahre zum ersten Mal mit der Windenergietechnik in BerA1/4hrung. Unter seiner Leitung entstanden in vielen LAndern die ersten groAen Versuchs-Windkraftanlagen. Das deutsche Projekt a žGrowian" und weitere Experimentalanlagen bildeten den Hintergrund fA1/4r seine theoretischen Arbeiten auf dem Gebiet der Windkraft-Aerodynamik und der Systemauslegung von Windkraftanlagen. FA1/4r zwei Jahre gehArte Hau dem Vorstand des neu gegrA1/4ndeten Instituts fA1/4r Solare Energieversorgungstechnik an der UniversitAt Kassel an.
