Presently software based simulation has gained a lot of attention and is considered most effective tool for research and development in engineering sciences. MATLAB is one of the most powerful tools for analyzing the hypothesis and ideas of engineers and scientists. Simulink is available with MATLAB and it provides us modular based approach to solve problems. Various tutorials are available on internet about the use of SIMULINK but they cannot be considered as first hand approach of using SIMULINK. The prime aim of this book is to facilitate students in an elegant manner about using SIMULINK in general and SIM POWER SYSTEMS in particular. A very basic approach is adopted and each and every step is depicted to ease the students in getting grip of this powerful tool.The experiments in this book are written keeping in view the undergraduate course of power / industrial electronics in almost all universities and technological institutes of region, however it can be considered as a useful quick reference guide for the students of graduate classes.

About the Author
Hadeed Ahmed Sher was born on September 04,1984 in Faisalabad,Pakistan. He did his B.Sc Electrical Engg. from B.Z University, Multan in 2006 and M.Sc Electrical Engineering from UET, Lahore in 2008. He is currently working towards his Doctoral degree in King Saud University,Riyadh,KSA. His research areas are Power Electronics and Renewable energy.
