Synopsis
Le meurtre de la photojournaliste danoise Anneke Jespersen, lors des émeutes de Los Angeles en 1992, n’a jamais été résolu. C’est Harry Bosch lui-même qui avait pu faire les premières constatations la nuit du meurtre, une nuit où la police avait très peu de temps, dans une ville à feu et à sang.
Or c’est encore lui qui pourra reprendre l’enquête, exactement 20 ans après les faits. Et Harry, toujours aussi tenace, ne lâchera pas avant d’avoir identifié le meurtrier. Après tout, c’est comme dans les catastrophes aériennes, il doit bien y avoir une « boîte noire » qui vous permette de remonter le temps et vous donne un point de départ...
