About the Author
Barbara Kingsolver est née en 1955 à Carliste dans le Kentucky, et vit aujourd'hui à Tucson dans l'Arizona. Elle est aussi poète, journaliste, biologiste et militante des droits de l'homme : Un été prodigue est son cinquième roman publié chez Rivages, après Les Yeux dans les arbres (Rivages poche n°331), qui a remporté un succès mondial.
