René Mettler a illustré de nombreux titres dans les collections "Mes Premières Découvertes". Ses somptueuses images au réalisme méticuleux lui ont valut en 2012 le prix "La science se livre" qui récompense les meilleurs ouvrages de vulgarisation scientifique.
