David Miles makes books for a living. He also reads books, writes books, sells books, shelves books, thinks about books, drives to books, sleeps to books, and cooks from books, but he doesn't eat books (which is fortunate). He is the author of Book and has illustrated multiple series including the Slide-N-Seek novelty books and the Let's Count regional board books. David graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in business management. He and his wife and son live in California where they enjoy lots of tacos, donuts, and, well . . . books.
Brooke earned a BA in English and editing from Brigham Young University. Academically, Brooke's studies focused on film adaptation and fairy tales, and she presented her research at the 2013 PCA/ACA National Conference in Washington, DC. Brooke previously wrote for Stowaway, a travel magazine, and worked on staff as an editor and senior designer. The author of If It Fits, I Sits: The Ultimate Cat Quotebook and coauthor of The Ultimate Guide to Being a Superhero, Brooke is also the managing editor at Familius. The oldest of seven children and a believer in the importance of family, Brooke is proud to be a part of the Familius family and a proponent of its mission.
Michele Lynne Robbins, the Mater Familius and Acquisitions Editor, has been the CEO of the Robbins Roost for twenty-two years, where she has homeschooled each of her nine children. When she is not running her domestic enterprise, she is found developing important book content, creating unique gifts, and enjoying the joys of family life and motherhood. She holds a BA in Special Education from Brigham Young University.
Rebecca Sorge loves telling stories and drawing pictures, so becoming an illustrator made perfect sense. She recently graduated from Brigham Young University with a BFA in Illustration. She currently lives and works in Utah, creating art for children's books, magazines, posters, cards, and anything else people will let her draw on.
