    The Shredded Chef has become one of my most treasured cookbooks! I bought it to make healthy dishes for my son, who wants to lose 60 pounds. He has told me several times that he cannot eat a particular dish (because he thinks it is not on his diet). I always reply that the recipe came out of Michael Matthew's cookbook! The recipes are quick, simple to prepare, and use ingredients found at the local store. I can't wait to buy his next cookbook!     This book has a lot of educational information about nutrition, as well as easy to follow healthy recipes. I have been following Michael Matthews program of exercise and nutrition laid out in this book as well as Bigger Leaner Stronger and have lost over 30 pounds in 9 months. The recipes in the book are not difficult to prepare and don't need exotic ingredients. It has helped me to expand my menu and cooking repetoir with healthy options. It's well laid out and organized into categories by protein type and meals. It also has complete nutrition information including macro counts.     My husband bought this book for me as I love too cook healthy meals, I have not tried a recipe I didn't like there easy to follow and taste delicious.
