About the Author

NICHOLAS SAN MARTINO has run and completed thirty Boston Marathons, twenty-six of those consecutively. He also competed in the Ironman Triathlon in 1983. Nick is a physical therapist in Springfield, VT, a former track coach in Milford, NH, and a graduate of UVM. He is a father of five and has one grandchild, and continues to run at age 58.
