Manos Kanellos, Ph.D. studied plant physiology at Reading University and has worked with orchids for a number of years in Greece and The Netherlands. He has grown orchids at his home for over twenty years. He is a consultant for commercial companies on developing orchid products and gives talks to garden centres all over Britain on growing tropical orchids at home. He is also the author of A Comedian’s Guide to Greece, an informative, educational and funny guide to his country of origin. Peter White started growing orchids in 1980. He has received many awards including RHS Gold medals for his orchid displays at RHS shows and he is a qualifi ed judge of the RHS Orchid Committee. He is currently involved in the breeding of miniature Cymbidium and miniature Phalaenopsis. Peter White is a popular speaker on orchid growing and he is currently the President of the Orchid Society of Great Britain.
