Nobody does Northern Ireland like Ken and nobody tries harder to tell the stories of the men that soldiered and died, policed and patrolled, cried and bled, or lived and wept on the Emerald Isle than he. About the Author:
Ken Wharton is in his early 60s and has been writing since 2007. He lives with his partner Helen on the Gold Coast of Australia. He is the father to 7 and grandfather to 5. He wishes all of his children and grandchildren the peace and happiness which was denied to so many people during the Troubles. As long as he is able to, he will continue to tell the story of Britain's forgotten war and the stories of the forgotten civillians and the equally forgotten soldiers. Although no longer regularly skydiving, he retains his love of free-fall and has been a follower of Leeds United football team for over 54 years. He loves an ice-cold beer and a stroll along a golden shoreline. He loves his native county of Yorkshire, and insists that when 'God made Yorkshire, He was just showing off.'
