About the Author:

Steve Hall was born in Bath and educated
at BathTechnical School, the City of Bath
College and Huddersfield College of
Education. He spent much of his working
life teaching building and architecture in
Essex and Kent and was eventually an
Assistant Principal of GwentTertiary College.
In 1994 Steve took early retirement and
escaped into the world of watercolour
painting where he was finally able to fulfil
his childhood ambition of professionally
using his drawing and painting skills. He
now runs watercolour courses throughout
the year at hisWiltshire home, across the
country and in northern Spain. His paintings
are exhibited at galleries inWiltshire,
Bristol and Norfolk. He is constantly in
demand as a demonstrator and after
dinner speaker and has recently produced
his third instructional DVD, which will be
distributed in both Europe and the United
States.
This publication is his fifth in association
with Halsgrove.
