About the Author:

John Malam studied ancient history and archaeology at the University of Birmingham, after which he worked as an archaeologist at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum, Shropshire. David Antram studied at Eastbourne College of Art and then worked in advertising before becoming a full-time artist. He has illustrated many children's non-fiction books.
