About the Author:
Aidan Caine, christened Kevin Walsh, was born in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. He adopted the stage name Aidan Caine, on becoming a professional actor. Aidan is second generation Irish and is very proud of his Celtic roots. His late father was a belt winning semi-professional boxer and blacksmith. His mother is a beloved former dinner lady and a natural storyteller.Aidan is also an artist and has had exhibitions of his work displayed locally. As a young man he designed a pack of playing cards called The Hollywood Greats produced by Waddington Games Ltd, which featured his cartoons of the great movie stars as the picture cards. Aidan has always enjoyed writing and as a young man wrote to and received replies from many legendary names. In 1980, he contacted John Lennon and Yoko Ono. Their recorded reply was broadcast on BBC Radio 1's Studio B15 programme , and Lennon thanked Aidan for thinking of him and wished him luck too .As an actor, Aidan has appeared in many plays and features in Castle Explorer, an interactive CD ROM game for Dorling Kindersley Multimedia which has been distributed world wide. Aidan is a dog lover and acknowledges the love and friendship his dogs have given him over the years. Tuppence, I Love You!
