About the Author

Gail Dufresne is a certified McGown rug hooking artist from Lambertville, New Jersey, where she teaches, dyes, and designs in her home studio. She travels to workshops and rug schools throughout the U.S. and Canada, teaching her unique, colourful techniques to rug hookers from coast to coast. Gail uses unusual and non-traditional materials in her eye-catching, distinctive rugs. She is a frequent contributor to Rug Hooking magazine.
