Synopsis
In the complex world of the late 1990s, many people feel isolated and alone. Much of society has lost the sense of belonging, a feeling of connectedness to community, to the earth and to the sacred. Many long for simpler times when people lived in villages, depended on one another and engaged in sacred rituals. This work explores ways to bring ancient values to end-of-millennium lives. Part one sets the scene and sounds the "Call" to connection, to the sacred and to a tribal philosopy. Part two teaches the seven sacred tribal values of belonging, recognition, rites and rituals, education, service, trust and faith and completing the circle. In part three, the reader is invited to practice the values of tribe in modern life, with exercises based on the ten core tribal practices.
