About the Authors
Michael A. Cusumano teaches the strategic management of technology at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He has acted as consultant to a range of major companies and institutions in the United States and abroad, including AT & T, Ford, IBM, Texas Instruments, and the World Bank.
Richard W. Selby teaches information and computer science at the University of California, Irvine. He has consulted world-wide for numerous companies and organizations, including Alcatel, Digital, Litton, Loral and Unisys. He has published over sixty technical and management articles on software systems and development.
