The Trinity examinations in integrated skills provide a structured framework to encourage students to improve their skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. Trinity Expertise, a course from Garnet Education, in association with Trinity College London, prepares students for Level 1 of the exams, which involves an interview, a written exam and a set of portfolio tasks. There are 12 units, each covering one or two of the topic areas for the stage. Each unit contains: background building - focusing on possible exam tasks about the topic, plus guidance on the vocabulary, grammar and skills needed to complete the tasks effectively; vocabulary revision and extension; istening and speaking practice for the interview; reading and writing practice for the controlled written exam; and thinking and writing practice for the portfolio tasks. The course provides motivating and enjoyable activities that lead the students step by step to exam mastery.
