Charlie Ryrie is a writer, researcher, environmental campaigner and a committed organic grower. She is a regular contributor to gardening magazines including Garden Inspirations and Gardens Illustrated. She has edited and advised on many gardening books, including Heritage Vegetables (Gaia 1996). The Edible Container Garden (Gaia 2000) and Urban Eden (Kyle Cathie 2000).
