Psychosynthesis is an enormously influential form of psychoanalysis. It was developed in the early part of the 20th century by Roberto Assagioli, a visionary psychoanalyst who was years ahead of his time. He has become as important as Freud, Jung and Reich, with whom he was contemporary.
Psychosynthesis is different because it believes that psychoanalysis is incomplete without taking into account the soul, the imagination and the will. It is a very spritual, mystical, creative form of psychoanalysis and therefore is particularly relevant for our times today.

About the Author
Roberto Assagioli was an Italian psychotherapist who developed his theory in the early 1900s, contemporary with Freud, Reich and Jung. Unlike them, he continued refining and developing it up until his death in 1974.
