These LARGE SCALE COUNTY MAPS varying in scale from 1 to 1.5 inches to the mile of Angus, Ayrshire, Perthshire and Stirlingshire. When laid out in the full sheets per country, they measure up to 64 x 72 inches! They date from 1775 to 1817. Each county is sold in several sheets and can be sold individually or as a group. They are printed in black and white and are superb examples of Scottish cartography from the 18th century. The maps are available as follows: Angus in 1794 by Ainslie 117cm x 101cm Ayrshire in 1775 by Armstrong 152cm x 111cm Perthshire in 1783 by Stobie 162cm x 183cm. Stirlingshire in 1817 by Grassom 107cm x 173cm Printed area 48cm x 63cm. These maps COULD be folded but are best left UNFOLDED for display purposes*
