From the 1920s, Neil Davenport and his brother have been taking railway photographs, mostly from the days of steam. None has been published before. 250 of the best appear here, together with a selection of rare colour material from the early 50s. They are divided into eight sections, each dealing with a location of special centimental significance to father and son, ranging from Epsom to Whitby and Derby to Reading. The photographs are captioned and each section is prefaced by introductory text.
