About the Author:

Carol Baraniuk is Research Associate in the School of English and History at Ulster University where she lectures on the Ulster-Scots literary tradition. She has published widely on the Scottish literary tradition in Ireland, in journals such as the Scottish Literary Review (2005) and the Review of Scottish Culture (2007) and in edited volumes of essays including Forging the anchor: Samuel Ferguson and his Legacy (forthcoming).
