He worked as a designer in both London and Zimbabwe. Ken has worked at Orchard Books and the BBC as a children's book designer and was appointed Assistant Art Director at David Bennett Books. Since then he has worked as a freelance designer. He has won several international awards for his work including illustration and design awards in Zimbabwe. He is the creator of several award-winning books including The Big Yellow Taxi and The Little Red Plane. He now lives in Finsbury Park, London.
