About the Author

Dr Catherine Dawson has been a researcher and writer since the mid-1980s. She has taught research methods courses at university to undergraduate students, postgraduate students and to community groups. She has written extensively for academic journals on a wide range of subjects, including research methodology. She is also the author of Introduction to Research Methods and Basic Study Skills, 2nd edition.
