The world as we perceive it, is contained within three spatial dimensions, but modern cosmology suggests a greater reality extending beyond our known universe, or aeon. Also, there is evidence that some early Christians were aware of this, but lacked the resources to express their insight scientifically. The story relates to the adventures of a loving couple in her service. 1944 a boy, Stephen Zabuloe, falls down a well in the Cornish countryside. Rescued by a woman wearing a colonel s uniform, the lady, Ystelle Canti, gives him a valuable golden cross and mysteriously disappears leaving the cross which forms a continuing spiritual link between them...Stephen meets an untimely death, but is reunited with Ystelle in the Queen s aeon.
